Mira - All Night Long - The Mezz, Colour Factory

Mira is a DJ whose music pulls you straight into her world, one of endless curiosity and deep, sensual groove. She was born in East Germany to a photographer and a classical musician. She started DJing in 1996 and became a key figure in the underground techno scene around Leipzig and Halle, helping shape electronic music in Eastern Germany. In 2006 she moved to Berlin and found her musical home at Bar25 and later Kater Blau (now Kater). There she built an international following, and her long, hypnotic sets defined a deep, soulful sound that was going global. The highlight of her residency is her birthday event, 'Katzen Tanzen auf'm Tisch'. It runs for three days every December and has launched many artists who now tour the world. She is also bringing back her 'Mira invites' series. As curator of the Kiosk I.D. label, Mira listens to hundreds of demos every month to find and support the next generation of producers.
