About Dekmantel
Dekmantel started as an Amsterdam party series and label and became one of the most respected festivals in electronic music. It is known for carefully programmed line-ups — deep techno, house, disco and experimental sounds — and for treating its sound and its crowd with care.
The festival takes place in summer in the Amsterdamse Bos, the large woodland park on the southern edge of Amsterdam, next to Amstelveen. It is a day festival, reachable by bike or public transport from the city, with the night continuing in Amsterdam's clubs.
